I'm Matthew Fox, Owner of Fox Fitness. I've been training people since 2019, with a passion for helping people personal training has been the perfect outlet to pursue that! I've had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clientele, from Rehab to sport performance training, I want to help you reach your goals in a sustainable and healthy manner. My workout programming and nutritional coaching is focused around not only helping you achieve your goal in a effective manner, but Educationally too, I want you to feel confident in your own ability to continue and maintain your health and fitness goals for your entire life! With the knowledge from 7 primary certifications in both Nutrition Sciences and Biomechanics we'll create the perfect program to help you succeed long term! Let's get started today!​

Austin Torres – Coach


Austin Torres brings extensive experience and a deep passion for helping individuals achieve
their fitness and performance goals. As a former professional track and field athlete and Olympic
hopeful, Austin competed at an elite level as a decathlete, excelling across multiple disciplines
and developing a profound understanding of high-performance training.
Austin has a rich coaching background at both the collegiate and high school levels. As a
university track and field coach, he mentored student-athletes to reach their full potential, and as
a high school coach, he led teams to championship performances, fostering growth and success
on and off the track. Beyond athletics, he has worked with clients of all ages, from young
athletes refining their skills to older adults striving to maintain strength and mobility.
Austin’s coaching philosophy emphasizes proper technique, personalized training programs, and
cultivating a mindset that drives lasting results. Outside of coaching, he enjoys staying active,
spending quality time with his family, and supporting the local fitness community. Whether
you’re pursuing athletic excellence or striving to improve your overall health, Austin is dedicated
to helping you reach your goals every step of the way.

Sadie Lende - Coach

 

Sadie is new to coaching and brings a vibrant energy to the role! With over three years of consistent workout experience, she has developed a strong passion for achieving goals and fostering connections within her community. Inspired by her former roommate, who was a coach, Sadie decided to sign up for a free class—and she hasn’t looked back since! Outside of the gym, she enjoys exploring cute coffee shops, diving into art projects, and spending time with her playful cat. Sadie is excited to meet new members and is dedicated to helping them reach their goals and celebrate their achievements!

Josie Povey - Coach

 

Josie Povey is an enthusiastic addition to the Fox Fitness team! A lifelong competitive athlete, she is currently a sophomore at American River College, pursuing an AS degree in psychology. Josie is also a dedicated member of the ARC Beavers, playing both indoor and beach volleyball. Passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, she is eager to support and motivate members to build strength, stay driven, and excel in the weight room.
